fir tree ? holly ?

Tomek > the CQD book has arrived, it's sooo nice and contains 2 titles already available on this site for a while... the rest of the CD (unfortunately in mp3 and not audio format) is really worth the listen, at least for Tycho Brahe's title, an irish band freshly renamed Tychonaut.

News from the recording : most of the basis tracks (voice + guitar for most of them) are recorded and some arrangements too. There should be between 10 and 12 titles on the album, some with vocals and others only instrumental.

cover salzinsel

Gasp > the Salzinsel magazine (that had to change its name because of some obscure moral reasons) is out, and before being able to order it on this site (when I have some copies indeed), the titles of the compilation are downloadable at www.archive.org

Judas Insel is an independent magazine dealing with culture and arts in Luxembourg, its regions and beyond. It includes articles on various events, institutions and artists, but also creative texts, music and visual arts. The purpose of the magazine is to serve an effective exchange between people involved in these fields.
For its first issue, Judas Insel will offer a compilation cd-r with its first 200 copies.

And still some multicoloured humeurs in french...

Thanx

A new page added, not a long list, no... thanx.

Two other new texts to discover & some varied humeurs...

Tomek > the recording is finally on its way... more news soon.

On stand by

the release of the CQD book seems to be a little postponed, no news yet.
Patience, patience...

Likewise, the collaborations page is dragging out, wonder if there's really something to put in it... actually I had so many things to do that I couldn’t find the time to tell you more about it. But its progressing, promise!

Hum, you don't have to wait to discover my current mood, and 2 new texts here.

Gasp > Unexpected, the comeback of this long-dormant solo project, brought back to life by the participation to the compilation of an art magazine described as follows :
Judas Insel is an independent magazine dealing with culture and arts in Luxembourg, its regions and beyond. The purpose of the magazine is to serve an effective exchange between people involved in these fields.

This magazine should be available very soon, I'll have some copies to sell...

CQD book

The book including several participations from forum members of the Stina Nordenstam site is now in pre-order at the site shop.
It's a limited edition of 200 copies, including a cd. The price is related to the rarity of the thing.
As a reminder, 2 Tomek songs appear on the CD.
It should be available in the two coming weeks.

Optimism ?

A few things added here and there, in humeur of course, and also in links...

18/09/04

Humour

I strongly recommend to come back regularly and take a glance at the humeur page, likely to expand depending on the mood...

By the way, I also put the pictures page online, enjoy !

The T^ete d'enclume site is also completed now (only in french).

07/09/04

1st update, what about celebrating it ?

Putting a site online is not the end of the job, you need to keep it alive, to develop it, at least to complete it. So here's the opening of the humeur page, soon followed by the 2 last missing pages, pictures and collaborations.
but I have other things to do first... ->

Tomek > after three short live recording sessions (guitar + loops + voice) during summer, the songs bases are settled, some might remain close to these versions, some others will very likely evolve...

Baka! > last week end, a Baka!-Lunt improvisation session during which we met Gilles aka Lunt for the first time, and who is also the man behind Hitomi recordings and co-founder of the label Unique records.
And as everything's been recorded, something might come out of it...

T^ete d'enclume > also currently working on the site for the future t^ete d'enclume show entitled Papy l'boxeur. The presentation page of this site is now online.

And various recordings/mixings/masterings to come or in progress...

Site launch

what should I say after all these months, if not years, spent in thinking & trying in every possible way how to reach this finally imperfect & still incomplete thing you’re glancing at ?
Welcome !

I must thank here all the people without whom I would not have been able to build this site : Florent from chokebore.net for his precious help about html and css, Christian from leprisonnier.net for advices, Stéphan for his constant support and his involvement in design, Jipi for his fixings and advices, Emma for her essential help in translation, & last but not least, the rob & coll senior, wink wink.

Tomek > Stina’s new album is to be released on oct, 11th, 2004, as well as the cqd book & cd, hopefully featuring 2 songs by Tomek.

An excellent time with Tamara Williamson and her musicians (& also Chris, chief label manager), a big thanx to them for their generosity and simplicity, on and off stage, hoping to see them soon again.
A good time for me as well, the good sound on stage and in the club obviously helping a lot, both the new and old rearranged songs standing up quite well for their first time being performed on stage.
More generally speaking, the audience was present and receptive to this show organised by a bunch of motivated friends. Huge thanx to everyone and too bad for those who missed it.

Baka! > 2 extracts from the cd are downloadable here ; the promo copies have already been sent, we're waiting for the first feedbacks and reviews to reach us.

30/03/04

Tomek opening for Tamara Williamson, a canadian artist whose first french release is planned for early april at Ocean music / may 1st at Caveau du musicien, Chalon/Saône

The recording has started at last, and the album is planned for 2004.

Baka! > one album "éphémère" consisting of one single track lasting about 40 minutes will be released in 2004 on Hitomi recordings, Unique records' experimental sub-label.

20/02/04

> Tomek Two recent songs are available in mp3 here.
These titles stem from the collaboration with some members of the message board of Stina Nordenstam website and should be released on a compilation included with the CQD book and simultaneously with Stina's new album "The world is saved".
More details soon. Well, hope so.

> Versus, Imagho, Sketches of Pain...

Versus is an association initiated by JL Prades and Valérie Rossignol to run a fanzine, a micro-label cd-r and the bands Baka!, Sketches of pain and Imagho.
To get regular news and if you wanna be reviewed, drop them a line at .

In Versus' latest news, Imagho is looking for a label to release his new album, and Versus records' first official release, Sketches of Pain's cd-r, called "necro", and containing three magnificent songs of heavy noise, at times delicate, and somewhat stifling. The artwork is just gorgeous.
And of course Versus fanzine #2 featuring interviews of Kïmmo, Unwound & Favez : noise & emo all over the place.
